like a band of superheroes, cellular organelles have specific jobs and have to work together to accomplish the survival of the cell. today, you will research an organelle and create a superhero character to represent it.
all superheroes have superpowers that help them accomplish their jobs and sometimes they work closely with other superheroes. superheroes often also have a downfall-something that ruins their superpowers (ex: kryptonite for superman, removal of ironmans artificial heart, etc). the downfall of a superhero can cause things to go drastically wrong.
objective: learn about one cellular organelle and design a superhero based on the function of that organelle.
