Question
exam ii will contain questions that may be multiple-choice, true/false, fill-in-the-blank, short answers, or/and essays. this exam will be timed (55 minutes) and must be completed in one attempt. you will not be able to start the exam and then return to it late. you must complete it at the time you start the exam. make sure that you allocated a full 55 minutes to take the exam, as you only again only get one attempt. while it may not take the entire time to take the exam, you want to make sure you are prepared for the entire hour of time, so there is no conflict with other activities.
exam ii will cover chapters 5, 6, 7, and 8. you will have roughly 12 - 15 questions per chapter. be sure that you work alone; this is not a group exam. each person will have a different set of questions, as this will be a pooled question set. you will want to make sure that you study ahead of time because if you are trying to look answers up as you go, you may run out of time. also, remember that canvas will log your activity during the exam; if you leave your screen, it will be noted in the exam log. you will not be allowed a second attempt, so if you dont answer all your questions in the time allowed, you will get the remainder of the questions marked as zeros.
if there are any technical issues that come up during the exam, take a screenshot of the error and contact me immediately for assistance.
best of luck!

the primary structural components of the cell membrane are...
phospholipids and cellulose
phospholipids and proteins
cholesterol and proteins
proteins and cellulose
glycoproteins and cholesterol
The cell membrane is primarily composed of phospholipids (which form the lipid bilayer) and proteins (which have various functions like transport, signaling, etc.). Cellulose is a component of plant cell walls, not the cell membrane. Cholesterol is present in animal cell membranes but is not one of the two primary structural components. Glycoproteins (proteins with attached carbohydrates) are also part of the membrane but are not the main structural components compared to phospholipids and proteins.
