Question

a student recycles and thinks he is doing the best for the environment. what would be even better than recycling? throwing things away immediately taking his recyclables directly to the landfill reducing his waste taking his recycling directly to the recycling plant

Explanation:

Reducing waste at the source minimizes the need for recycling and the associated energy - and resource - intensive recycling processes. Throwing things away immediately and taking recyclables to the landfill are bad for the environment. Taking recycling directly to the recycling plant is just part of the recycling process, while reducing waste is a more proactive environmental measure.

Answer:

reducing his waste
