Question

the ________ model is the most recognized model for explaining how concepts are formed.
a. prototype
b. language
c. exemplar
d. concept

please select the best answer from the choices provided

○ a
○ b
○ c
○ d

Explanation:

The prototype model is widely recognized as a key model for explaining concept formation. It suggests that we form concepts around a prototype (a typical or ideal example) of a category. The language model is about language, not concept formation. The exemplar model is also for concept formation but the prototype model is more recognized as the primary one for this explanation. The "concept" option is too vague and not a model for concept formation.

Answer:

A. prototype
