Question

1. futbol and soccer are the same game. *

a) true
b) false

Explanation:

"Fútbol" (in Spanish - speaking regions) and "Soccer" (commonly used in some English - speaking regions like the US) both refer to the sport of association football, where the objective is to score goals by getting the ball into the opponent's net using mainly the feet (with some exceptions like goalkeepers using hands within their penalty area). So they are the same game. The selected option B is incorrect. The correct answer should be A as they represent the same sport.

Answer:

A) True
