Question

what happened to careers in this cluster during the covid pandemic?
a they did not change at all.
b they decreased permanently.
c they decreased temporarily.
d they increased right away.

Explanation:

During the COVID - 19 pandemic, many career clusters faced temporary disruptions. Lockdowns and restrictions led to short - term drops in business activity, consumer demand, etc. But these were not permanent as economies started to recover as restrictions were lifted and adaptations (like remote work, new safety protocols) were made. Option A is wrong because the pandemic did impact careers. Option B is wrong as most career impacts were not permanent. Option D is wrong as most careers didn't increase right away; in fact, many faced declines initially. So the correct option is C.

Answer:

C. They decreased temporarily.
