Question

select the correct answer.
who might be the main characters in a world parents type of creation story?

a. a turtle and a raven

b. a higher power and a human

c. the sky and the earth

d. the spirits of humans

Explanation:

In a "world parents" creation story, the main characters are typically entities that represent the sky (often the father) and the earth (often the mother) who give birth to or form the world. Option A (turtle and raven) is more related to other creation myth types (like earth-diver). Option B (higher power and human) is not characteristic of world parents. Option D (spirits of humans) is unrelated. So the sky and earth (Option C) fit the world parents creation story concept.

Answer:

C. the sky and the earth
