Question

select the correct answer.
which roman statue has influenced many modern monuments dedicated to war heroes
a. aphrodite de milos
b. marcus aurelius on his horse
c. colossal head of constantine

Explanation:

• Option A: Aphrodite de Milos is a Greek statue of the goddess of love, not related to war heroes or influencing war - hero monuments.
• Option B: The equestrian statue of Marcus Aurelius (Marcus Aurelius on his horse) is a Roman statue that has served as a model for many modern equestrian monuments dedicated to war heroes. It depicts a leader in a heroic, authoritative pose on horseback, which is a common motif for commemorating military leaders and war heroes.
• Option C: The colossal head of Constantine is a Roman statue fragment, but it is not the one that influenced modern war - hero monuments. It is more focused on depicting the emperor's face rather than a heroic, equestrian - style monument.

B. Marcus Aurelius on his horse
