what was the mayflower compact?
a. the ship that transported the pilgrims to america
b. the colonial legislature of virginia
c. the agreement in which the pilgrims agreed to make decisions collectively
d. benjamin franklin’s 1754 plan for uniting the colonies
e. the list of grievances against the king of england

Explanation:

The Mayflower Compact was an agreement where the Pilgrims (who arrived on the Mayflower) agreed to establish a self - governing system and make decisions collectively. Option A is about the ship (the Mayflower itself, not the Compact), Option B is about Virginia's legislature (unrelated), Option D is Franklin's plan (the Albany Plan, not related to the Mayflower Compact), and Option E is the Declaration of Independence's grievances. So the correct description of the Mayflower Compact is Option C.

Answer:
