Question

complete the sentence.

if tyler is able to save up money for a trip to ireland, he will research his ancestry,
identify living relatives, and __________ in the hopes that he can arrange a
meeting.

might email them

email them

Explanation:

The sentence structure uses "will research... identify... and [verb]" for parallelism. "Might email" introduces uncertainty not consistent with the confident actions (research, identify) and the goal of arranging a meeting. "Email them" maintains parallel structure with the present - tense - like form (in the context of the future - oriented "will" structure, the base form is used for the parallel verbs) and logical consistency with the actions of researching and identifying to move towards arranging a meeting.

Answer:

email them
