bonus (2 points): write a collect prayer asking god to help you grow in your relationship with him by learning about the bible. you must include all 5 parts of a collect prayer for credit.

Explanation:

To list the 10 Commandments, we refer to the biblical account (Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5). The 10 Commandments are:

1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.
8. You shall not steal.
9. You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
10. You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.

For the Collect Prayer, a Collect typically has parts like address (to God), petition (request), aspiration (desire), conclusion (through Christ, etc.). An example:
"Almighty God, (address)
we beseech You to guide our hearts and minds as we learn Your holy Word, (petition)
that we may grow in love and understanding of You, (aspiration)
through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. (conclusion)
Amen."
(This includes addressing God, petitioning for guidance in Bible study, aspiring to grow in relationship, and a Trinitarian conclusion, along with the overall purpose of the prayer.)
