Question

the american expeditionary forces were led by...
alvin c. york
teddy roosevelt
john j. pershing
dough boys

Explanation:

The American Expeditionary Forces during World War I were led by General John J. Pershing. Alvin C. York was a famous soldier - not a leader of the entire expeditionary forces. Teddy Roosevelt was a former president who did not lead the AEF during WWI. "Dough Boys" was a term for American soldiers, not a leader.

Answer:

C. John J. Pershing
