(1 point) they helped win the battle of santiago in cuba they helped admiral dewey in the battle of manila bay. they single - handedly liberated guam from spanish forces. they distracted spanish forces off the coast of the philippines.

Explanation:

Teddy Roosevelt's Rough Riders were a volunteer cavalry unit. In the Spanish - American War, they played a significant role in the Battle of Santiago in Cuba. Admiral Dewey's actions were mainly in the Battle of Manila Bay (and the Rough Riders were not involved there). Guam was captured with relatively little resistance (not by the Rough Riders single - handedly). The distraction off the coast of the Philippines is not related to the Rough Riders' main contribution.

Answer:

They helped win the Battle of Santiago in Cuba.
