Question

to understand the values expressed in a myth, what are the best elements in the story for a reader to consider? select four options.
□ actions
□ clothing
□ conflict
□ diet
□ motivations
□ resolution

Explanation:

To determine the elements that reveal values in a myth, we analyze each option:

• Actions: Characters' actions show what behaviors are valued (e.g., bravery, kindness).
• Clothing: Usually not a primary indicator of core values in myths.
• Conflict: How conflicts are presented and resolved reflects cultural values (e.g., valuing heroism over cowardice).
• Diet: Generally not a key element for understanding mythic values.
• Motivations: Why characters act (e.g., loyalty, greed) reveals underlying values.
• Resolution: The outcome of the story (how conflicts end) emphasizes what is rewarded or condemned.

So the four elements are actions, conflict, motivations, and resolution.

Answer:

A. actions, C. conflict, E. motivations, F. resolution
