Question

rivets are bayonets drive them home! how does the background image help communicate the message of the poster? it suggests that the worker should have volunteered for the war. it demonstrates the cruelty and brutality of war. it shows that the worker’s contributions are less valuable than the soldiers’. it implies that the worker’s tasks have value to soldiers.

Explanation:

The poster's background has a soldier silhouette and American flag, linking the worker's task (using rivets) to soldiers' needs. The first option is incorrect as the poster focuses on production, not volunteering. The second is wrong as the background doesn't show war cruelty. The third is incorrect as it emphasizes the worker's value, not inferiority. The fourth option fits: the worker's tasks (rivets) support soldiers, so the background implies worker tasks have value to soldiers.

Answer:

D. It implies that the worker’s tasks have value to soldiers.
