Question

select the correct answer. what kind of information does the nutrition facts label give about requirements for essential nutrients? a. the number of calories from vitamins and minerals b. the number of servings needed for a nutritious daily diet c. the percent of various nutrients in one serving

Explanation:

The Nutrition Facts label shows the percent - daily value of various nutrients in one serving, which indicates the proportion of the recommended intake for that nutrient in a single serving. It doesn't show the number of calories from vitamins and minerals as vitamins and minerals don't contribute calories in the way macronutrients do. Also, it doesn't directly give the number of servings needed for a nutritious daily diet.

Answer:

C. the percent of various nutrients in one serving
