Question

2 multiple choice 1 point
what group of people were progressives?
¿qué grupo de personas eran progresistas?
○ mostly middle class educated americans
○ both poor and middle class americans
○ mostly very wealthy americans
○ mostly poor and working class americans

Explanation:

Progressives in the US Progressive Era were predominantly middle - class, educated individuals (including professionals, reformers) who sought to address social and political issues. The other options are incorrect: very wealthy Americans were often part of the establishment being reformed, poor/working - class were more the subjects of reform efforts rather than the main progressive group, and “both poor and middle class” misrepresents the primary demographic.

Answer:

A. Mostly middle class educated Americans
