Question

who was the controversial governor of louisiana who led liberal opposition to the new deal?
huey
roosevelt
landon
long

Explanation:

To solve this, we recall historical knowledge: Huey Long was the controversial governor of Louisiana who opposed the New Deal with his liberal policies (like "Share Our Wealth" program). Roosevelt was the New Deal's proponent, Landon was a Republican opponent in elections but not Louisiana's governor. So the correct option is Long.

Answer:

Long (from the dropdown: the option "Long")
