Question

which of the following is not a common format for sports stories? previewing an upcoming game/match/meet; weather forecasts for outdoor sporting events; coverage of an actual game/meet/match; features on a particular athlete or team

Explanation:

Sports stories typically focus on aspects related to sports events, athletes, teams, or previews of sports competitions. Weather forecasts for outdoor sporting events are about weather, not the core content of a sports story (which is about the sport, athletes, games, etc.). Previewing upcoming games, covering actual games, and featuring athletes/teams are common sports story formats.

Answer:

B. Weather forecasts for outdoor sporting events
