Question

what is the northwest passage?
□ a passage around south america to asia.
□ the land bridge connecting asia to north america
□ a waterway through or around north america.
□ the exchange of slaves with africa.

Explanation:

The Northwest Passage is a sea route (waterway) through or around the northern part of North America, connecting the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The first option is about a passage around South America (which is the Strait of Magellan), the third is incorrect about connecting Asia to North America, and the fourth is about the trans - Atlantic slave trade. So the correct description is a waterway through or around North America.

Answer:

A waterway through or around North America.
