Question

uyana wants to research eco - friendly goods and services. where is the best place for her to start online?
the environmental protection agency
the federal energy star program
company websites
(another option that is partially visible)

Explanation:

To solve this, we analyze the options for researching eco - friendly goods and services:

Option 1: The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)

The EPA is a government agency that focuses on environmental protection. It provides a wealth of information related to environmental regulations, sustainable practices, and eco - friendly initiatives. When it comes to eco - friendly goods and services, the EPA has resources about products that meet environmental standards, green technologies, and sustainable business practices. For example, it has programs and databases that list products with low environmental impact, like Energy Star (which is also related to energy - efficient, a type of eco - friendly, products).

Option 2: The federal Energy Star program

The Energy Star program is mainly focused on energy - efficient products. While energy efficiency is a part of eco - friendliness, it is a more narrow focus compared to the EPA. The EPA encompasses a broader range of environmental aspects including water conservation, waste management, and air quality - related eco - friendly products and services, not just energy - efficient ones.

Option 3: Company Websites

Company websites will only provide information about the eco - friendly products and services that the specific company offers. They do not give a comprehensive overview of the entire eco - friendly goods and services landscape across different industries and sectors. So, they are not the best starting point for general research on eco - friendly goods and services.

Option 4: (Assuming there is a fourth option, but from the visible text, we focus on the first three)

Since the EPA has a broader scope of environmental information and resources related to eco - friendly goods and services compared to the more narrow Energy Star program and the limited company websites, the best place for Uyana to start her online research on eco - friendly goods and services is the Environmental Protection Agency.

the Environmental Protection Agency
