select the correct answer.
pamela is making an online purchase. which action will help ensure that her personal information will be secure?
a. she should make sure the website’s address starts with https.
b. she should call the ftc and inquire about the website.
c. she should check whether other websites offer the product at a similar price.

Explanation:

To ensure personal information security during online purchases, checking for a website address starting with "https" (where "s" stands for secure, indicating an encrypted connection) is a standard practice. Option B (calling FTC about the website) is impractical for every purchase, and Option C (checking similar prices) relates to pricing, not security. So Option A is correct.

Answer:

A. She should make sure the website’s address starts with https.
