Question

the character in \i know why the caged bird sings\ that is most like the free bird in \the caged bird\ is
bailey
marguerite
momma
mrs. flowers

Explanation:

In "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings", Mrs. Flowers is a figure who represents wisdom, freedom of spirit, and the ability to inspire others to break free from their metaphorical cages, similar to the free bird in "The Caged Bird" that soars and has freedom of movement and expression. Bailey, Marguerite (Maya) at times is in a more constrained situation, and Momma has a more grounded, protective role rather than embodying the free - bird - like freedom.

Answer:

Mrs. Flowers
