Question

answer the following question in 3-4 complete sentences.
look at the sculpture above. does it most likely have implied texture or actual texture? what texture(s) does it a
have? include the name of the sculpture and artist in your response.

Explanation:

This sculpture, likely "Horse" by Deborah Butterfield, is made from organic materials like branches or twigs. It has actual texture because the physical surface (rough, uneven from the natural wood elements) can be felt. The use of natural, fragmented wood pieces gives it a rustic, textured appearance that’s tangible, not just implied.

Answer:

The sculpture (likely "Horse" by Deborah Butterfield) most likely has actual texture. It appears to be constructed from natural, uneven materials like branches or twigs, so the rough, fragmented surface is tangible (actual texture), conveying a rustic, organic feel from the wood - like elements.
